How to narrow a list of users who you want to get the reminders about?

If you're a member of a big team, you may feel overwhelmed with the reminders you get nearly every day or sometimes even several announcements a day. How to reduce the number of reminders and not to miss an upcoming birthday of a person important to you?

• Open the bot on the Home tab 
• find the Your summary section.

• click the Personal settings button
• hit Configure reminders

The screenshot below is showing that I'm the member of the two celebration channels. However, I only wish to receive reminders about colleagues from the #birthday-celebrations channel.

If you still have some people left in the #celebrations channel whose birthday you don't want to miss, you can add them to the "Always get reminders about the following users" field and save the changes.
