Normally the payment information and billing email can be updated by the account owner. However, if the account owner is no longer with the company, a billing admin can help.
This is a member of your team with special permission to manage your subscription and update payment details. Billing admins have the same subscription permissions as the account owner.
A billing admin can be added by the BirthdayBot admin only:
- open the bot in Slack
- click Workspace settings
- Manage billing admins
- Save
By default, the initial account owner is set up as the one on file to receive monthly invoice emails. However, any billing admin can always view the billing section in the customer portal https://birthdaybot.io/customer-portal/ to review the most current invoices. If you'd like to receive monthly invoice emails or ensure other billing admins receive monthly invoice emails, contact us and we'll get that updated for you.
